SCOPS remind sheep farmers of nematodirus risk
The SCOPS nematodirus forecasting map is now showing some areas of the UK being high and very high risk of infection to lambs. Flocks with lambs around six weeks of age are most vulnerable to infection.
Parts of Devon are now at high risk with some areas of very high risk around London and the South West so February and early March born lambs may be at risk. Farmers are urged to check the risk factors for their lambs. For more information and to view your local risk.
