Join us on February 22nd for a free webinar – “Regenerative agriculture for vets”. A 101-style introductory guide to what is happening in the regen ag world, how this connects with new far payments and what farm vets need to know. You will hear from a farmer, an agronomist and a vet about new ways and opportunities to work with your farmers in the face of the changing agriculture landscape.

The evening will run like this:

  • Holly Whitelaw (Regen Food & Farming) – General introduction; multispecies, soil health, plant and gut health. 10 mins
  • Rob Howe (LLM Farm Vets ) – Integrated pest management, why dung beetles are cool and nature friendly pest management. 15-20 mins.
  • Charlotte Blackler (Herb Majesty) – case study example, how she grazes her animals on the croft and makes use of different browses and herbs both nutritionally and medicinally for her animals. 15-20 mins.
  • Niels Corfield (Regenerative agronomist, advisor and trainer) – More on forage and a brief intro to the bigger picture eg, links with new farm payments (agroforestry, shelter-belts and hedges), & carbon payments. 15-20 mins.
  • Q&A session. 45-50 mins
