Examination of Rams For Breeding

A one day practical CPD for vets covering both a short lecture and practical on farm. Places are limited to allow for small group teaching. The course is led by Jenny Hull BVetMed
CertAVP(Sheep) MRCVS and is suitable for all levels of experience.

The day will included –

• Lecture covering anatomy, physiology, physical examination and semen collection
• Physical Examination and Semen Collection using Electro-ejaculation
• Semen Evaluation
• Advice on sourcing equipment including phase contrast microscope and heated stages
• Course materials and CPD certificate provided
• Good discussion over lunch guaranteed
• Over 60 rams to examine on site

The course cost is £500 +VAT. This does not include accommodation but we have suggestions of good places to stay locally if required.
