Basic Sheep Modular Course

Lambing time  – 8th January 2025

Late pregnancy and neonatal lamb health.

• Metabolic profiles, investigating abortion outbreaks and neonatal disease. Emphasis on colostrum.
• Practical to include body condition scoring and assessment of sheep shed in preparation for lambing.
• Discussion on antibiotic prescribing and rationale plus developing protocols will also be included.

To be held at the Wales Veterinary Science Centre, and local farms.

Costing £300 per day.
